Charterhall‘s range of residential properties were built to provide accommodation for a larger estate team than is justifiable today. From time-to-time these properties become available to rent.
Charterhall offers a range of housing accommodation with normally between 2 & 3 bedrooms.
Estate policy over the last 20 years has been to refurbish let properties to modern standards with the objective of significantly improving the quality of Charterhall's housing stock.
The estate is committed to providing quality rented housing and excellent landlord tenant relations. As a mark of this commitment the estate is proud to be an accredited landlord with LAS (Landlord Accreditation Scotland). This mark of assurance gives customers certainty, clarity and confidence that their expectations will be met.
Charterhall properties benefit from the village of Fogo’s popular Children’s nursery and Kirk (church) with services at 11.15 am on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
We are located in between the bustling border towns of Coldstream, Duns and Kelso which all have excellent local shopping, medical centres and secondary schools. Also more locally are the villages of Greenlaw, Leitholm & Swinton that have primary schools and village pubs including the Wheatsheaf in Swinton which has long been nationally renowned for its fine dining.

Charterhall is a wonderful and peaceful place to live. The local roads are free from traffic expect for the annual Jim Clark Rally held in the spring every year. Edinburgh is an easy drive and only 40 miles away. Newcastle is 70 miles.
Berwick-upon-Tweed with its excellent East Coast Mainline train station is only 20 minutes drive with high-speed services to Edinburgh, and London is less than 4 hours away by train.
Edinburgh and Newcastle airports are approximately an hour’s drive.
